Depart USA for Scotland

Tuesday, July 15

Upon your arrival in Scotland, you will be met by a MMF Golf representative, who will assist you with your luggage and present you with your travel guide, before showing you to your waiting rental mini-van. You will then transfer to St. Andrews and the Scores Hotel. Overlooking beautiful St. Andrew Bay and only a few hundred yards from the famous St. Andrew Links the Scores Hotel provides the perfect base for anyone visiting this historic town. The medieval layout of the town centre remains intact. Take time to explore and the rest of the day off to relax and unpack.

Wednesday, July 16

Today after breakfast golf will be arranged at Carnoustle Golf Club. With judgment of wind and distance critical, every tee shot needs careful placement to set up and approach to the green! After golf you may like to visit Glamis Castle. It was the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth and the setting for Shakespear’s Macbeth.

Overnight at the Scores Hotel.

Thursday, July 17

Today after breakfast golf will be arranged on the St. Andrews Old Course. The oldest course in the world has my remarkable features which help make it so special to golfers around the world. The Old Course is truly remarkable feature is that in today’s€™s modern golfing world, a course which has evolved over six centuries, remains a true test of championship golf. A tour of St. Andrews after golf is quite easy because it is so small and easy to visit the historic sights and beautiful gardens

Friday, July 18

Today after breakfast golf will be arranged on the St. Andrews Jubilee Course. Created on a narrow strip of land between the New Course and the sea, the Jubilee was originally a 12 hole course intended for ladies and beginners. The Jubilee was eventually extended to an 18 hole format and after the 1988 redesign it is the longest course at St. Andrews and has the reputation as the toughest links course. After golf, you will transfer to Chorley, England. Chorley is a beautiful country retreat.

Overnight at the Park Hall Hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Saturday, July 19

Today after breakfast you will attend the Third Day’s Play of the 2008 British Open Championship being held at Royal Birkdale Golf Club.

Dinner and overnight at the Park Hall Hotel

Sunday, July 20

Today after breakfast you will attend the Final Day’s Play of the 2008 British Open Championship followed by the presentation of the trophy to the winner.

Dinner and overnight at the Park Hall Hotel.

Monday, July 21

Today after breakfast you will depart Manchester for home.
